It was close, but you had the better experience He picked up the '90 TR about four months ago, giving up his very clean '84 or '85 TR (I can't remember which year) with 23k or so km's - also red on black. They're such different cars - the TR and 348, really stands out driving 'em back to back. The TR is a much bigger and heavier car, rides smoother, drives smoother, with explosive power and so much more torque - also easier on the passenger/spousal-unit. The 348 is so much more nimble and rotates so well around corners, with a lot more feedback, and a lot more noises. definitive GT vs definitive sports car. A very cool day. I'd lean to the mystery car being an MX-5 with body-kit, although tough to get a sense of size in the picture.
Silver Lambo Gallardo heading west in the HOV lane on the #1, just before the Grandview exit. Man, traffic was brutal everywhere this afternoon, I'm glad I wasn't driving my GT4! It surely would have fouled the plugs with all of the stop-and-go driving and the heat.
Yeah, that's the previous gen Jag XK convertible with some rims and bodykit. Tom, thanks for the info! And did you go to 3rd gear in Testarossa, or just revving to +6000 RPM in 2nd?
Hey Salar, Where is that strip mall? Seems to be a lot of people posting pics of exotics in that strip mall area. Somewhere in North Van?
Thats actually a real back protector...but a skull cap helmet. Those are the idiots that buy sportbikes just to take downtown and show off. They cant ride worth sh*t. They think a sportbike will help them pick up ladies. Man I hate idiots like that! They give us actual riders a bad name. ok, Im done my rant!
thought you'd have a comment or two FF! fyi - Caulfield Mall is just south of the Highway on the last exit before Horseshoe Bay in W.Van. same deal with the sports cars PETER - you'll get PM.
thanks. It was taken on Cypress mountain last Saturday. A friend of mine had a really nice camera...he took some pics of me going around the turn near the lookout point. Here are some more pics if you are interested... http://s102.photobucket.com/albums/m93/furious_fiero/Me%20on%20My%20Bike/
In West Van LV Quattroporte Silver Quattroporte A couple NSXs and TWO 70's Aston Martin V8s in one showroom in North Van. Silver and dark blue. Pretty rare cars.
^Nice ninja Furious_fiero those are one of my favorite bikes Blue E60 M5 in Burnaby Silver SL65 in Burnaby
Saw my first spots since I've been in Vancouver. Grigio Silverstone F430 and a Corsa Red 360 Spider (blonde girl driver) on the Granville St bridge. Is there a best place/day to get some good spots?
good morning The best street, imo, is West Cordova between Thurlow and Burrard - late afternoon. Always seems to be a Bentley or Aston parked along there. Yaletown is pretty good too, but inconsistent. For cars in motion, Robson Street is the favourite poseur/cruising street. Also lots on Cornwall/Point-Grey road, and out to UBC (not to mention some of the houses are kinda ok). Salar does pretty good at Caulfeild Mall in West Van. Marine Drive West Vancouver has quality spots and some rare ones too - Older Rolls Royces and even a BMW M1 once.
Yup thats exactly all the best spots. I would ad one more though. I would say West Broadway through the Kits area. I always seem to see a lot of Ferraris/Lambos there.
Last Saturday night: black 360 heading north on No. 3 Road around 9 pm. Today: A grey 360 spider with open top parking outside a body shop on Bridgeport Road this afternoon.
Dark grey/red 430 Spider on Georgia Silver Lotus Esprit on Burrard BTW, Milad, were the rims black on Murc Roadster?
That was a fun spin - thx for heading out here! I sense the brotherhood may be expanding with all this 348 attention! Toddb - I think it's 348ts, not 348TS - and when is that name of yours going to change
