Don't waste time watching the video. It has virtually nothing to do with Ferraris. If you want to hear how a RE developer went broke because of bad timing and/or decisions and how his team took advantage of his apparent failure to watch over his empire, then do spend 11 minutes of your life doing so.

Haha, i read this thread this morning and didnt really understand what was going on and thought i was just not really awake..but 2 hours later, it's still as bad.

 

It seems the cars may still be physically where they have always been. But the ownership of the cars has been moved around between shill companies and ones that actually hold the assets. The collection has probably been pledged several times as collateral. But everytime a creditor thinks he has ownership due to a company bankrupcty. He finds out he doesn't because they have been moved to another company and can't liquadate the assets. Its like musical chairs with dozens of different parties trying to claim ownership over assets. They thought were pledged to them as collateral and every one is coming up empty. Another analogy......3 card monty. Find the pea under the walnut shell except we are possibly looking at 30/40 shells. When all the shells are turned over. Everyone might find that there was never a pea under any of them to begin with! So who or what actually owns the collection? Thats the billion dollar question.

There is no Billion Dollar Carroll Foundation Trust and no billion dollar car collection disappeared.

LET'S REVIEW. If you google 'Carroll Foundation Trust', the only thing you find is a bunch of weird nonsensical blog/forum posts. If you go to Wikipedia, there is no entry on this organization.

And on arguably the site with the most collective knowledge of supercars and car collections on the whole internet, nobody here has head of it.

Further, there was a billion dollar fraud case in the UK and not a single mainstream media outlet has a single report on it? Not a single British paper? Um, no.

What is going on here is some idiot started this chainletter/prank/hopeless bid for lame traffic to his blog(s) a few years ago. Now he sits in is mom's basement hoping for a goggle alert he has set up for "Carroll Foundation Trust" and as soon as he sees it he stirs the pot.

I got to hand it to you... whoever you are.

You're a heck of a writer. You can write thousands of words that sound good but say nothing. "The Office of Important Investigations" That's a talent. But I am most impressed by the fake sky news interview. The humor hidden in there is hysterical. It's like the Airplane movies. You miss half the jokes the first time because they are so subtle. (10 quid says you're a Monte Python fan)

I'm only half way through the second video but it is it cracking me up... His boat's name was "The Carrollina" dude, classic. The put the roof on the mall backwards? another classic.

The part about the assets disappearing was weak however. You need to develop that part of the story more. His whole office "disappeared"? er weak.

But here is my question... with talents like that, can't you reach a broader audience than you're reaching with this spamathon you're running?

Well, I hate spammers as much as the next guy... actually more than most since I own a hosting company, but I kinda like this guy. After spending way too much time googleing and then thinking about it while fighting insomnia last night, I figure he's a wannabe film maker that just wants people to see his youtube clips.

Considering the quality of his youtube clips I gotta cut him some slack. The guy is good. (I assume it is a guy, only a guy could be smart enough to pull this off while simultaneously be dumb enough to waste this much time doing it.)

Anyway, I PMed Rob yesterday and now I hope he leaves this thread for other googlers to find. It's quite a puzzle to unravel.
