Whoo Hoo! 1001th post ALL MINE! Missed the 1000th post by th (___) is much. bwhahahahaha
so which is it MORE or LESS...get your questions straight and I can answer..or DO you NOT know what your asking...??
"What did the "Bill of sale" describe the item as bought and sold...is that what you really mean? " I am pretty sure he was interested in understanding the foregoing...tough guy.
Just goes to show Ignorance is 2nd to none.. Why do you care..your money from your Social Security check with your 1 bedroom apartment with no covered parking was no spent on it....so why would you care?
Yes you are correct #2 mand, right behind me #1 man that OWNS what I have NOT work for someone else.. For 12 years, Peter Brinzey has focused exclusively on the California energy and mergers and acquisitions space. During that time, Mr. Brinzey has transacted acquisitions and development projects. Projects have ranged from smaller but complex “behind the fence” cogeneration facilities to jurisdictional, utility grade/scale generation assets. With proficiency in both fossil and renewable generation, Mr. Brinzey is an advocate of a “clean and green” California thus recent and future business development activities have and will continue to focus on, achieving Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS) goals and the development of quick start and firming and shaping generation assets to support a balanced and reliable energy grid.
Ok, my apologies. I can see you are meticulous as illustrated by your spell check and proper diction. So to be precise - did the Cheetah have a VIN number or Chassis number? If so what is it? FYI no car sold on a bill of sale is street legal for more than show and display purposes as I understand it... Was the prototype named a Lamborghini, Chrysler, Jeep or what? What did it say when you bought it and conversely what was it when you sold it? I find this intriguing and since you are very passionate about this vehicle and have clearly invested much time, effort and resources into bringing this vehicle to life, I'm sure you wouldn't mind informing fellow enthusiasts about its present and future...
A better question, may be, is: what was the status of the Cheetah project when MTI sold it to TELEDYNE for the HMMWV project? Did they sell one complete vehicule (the Geneva one) and three chassis more or less completed or did TELEDYNE started to work on those chassis 2, 3 & 4 before realizing - like everybody else - that a rear engined HMMWV was a bad idea?
Toy Roy cut and pasted my company bio but managed to cut out a piece about my having completed > 1 billion dollars in m&a/development activities. Lol...not consistent with the 1 bedroom apt and living on social security thesis. Seems toy Roy has a history of leaving out relevant points to make story work for his purposes. This thread being a solid example.
The Cheatah had a VIN (actually a chassis number) of CHE77-1001. If you need more proof, I can scan a certain document.
With some work, I was able to obtain this: How do like the late charge for non payment lolol......rough days for Lambo back then. Really, do we need to continue this thread? Why can't we close it as I had requested? It's doing nothing but to continue rifts. Image Unavailable, Please Login
There was only 1 FULL vehicle sold to Teledyne. Teledyne then produced at least 3 other prototypes, reversed engineered from the one they aquired from MTI.
Yes, plus I did not think that would be a surprise, we've seen that number at times in the past, haven't we?
You are correct, it was not nor has it ever been street legal, nor has there been any claim that it was a street legal vehicle. It was a Prototype. It did carry a Manufactures "Dealer" plate out of the State of California when they did testing with it, I dont know what Teledyne had on it. It was designated as CHE77-1001 for records and tracking, as shown in the form Peter posted. IN our multiple interviews with Rod, the creature of the vehicle, along with ALL the documents we have..he has stated the vehicle NEVER had a number stamped on it anywhere. The only numbers that were on the vehilce, that are recorded and still remain on the vehcile was the engine and transmission number that bore Chryslers number stamps when they Donated the drive parts to Rod. Also as I have mentioned and Len has confirmed, other little items that ONLY Rod knew to be on the vehcicle when he built it and we confirmed where on when we took possession of it. I.E. tie down hooks, also for Helicopter lifting, 3 holes in hood from Lambo Badge, some Guages that were hand build by Rod at the time, the Gas tank that was hand built and welded as well as other parts like the taillights that he aquried from a junk yard to put into the vehicle. BUT again, I will say and agree with others, as well as ROD that there are parts on the vehicle that ARE not orginial to it and we are not 100% sure were and how they came to be..so it is NOT 100% as it left the Geneva Stand when it retunred to Rod in the USA and then sold to Teledyne. As far as the Bill of sale..good question...I honestly do not recall what the bill of sale to us says. I will review my file when in the office later today and post what I have, no secret. As far as when it moved on, it was sold under a bill of sale as well, that described it as "For Value recieved..for display only..Prototype Vehilce with Chrysler engine and transmission, not DOT approved or approved for street operations. We do have a ton of files, documents as well as a very lengthy Video iterview with Rod and the vehicle, all done over a 12 month period last year. Rod and I agreed to a compensation package for both his review of the vehicle as well as documents he still had in his possession and the Video interview. HOWEVER part of the agreement we came to, as required by ROd, was that certain pieces of documents (which he marked) could NOT be Publicly re-produced due to what he considered were still privacy rights he had with both Lamborghini and Teledyne. He required that these items ONLY be viewed by me and a slect few. Our agreement, as much as I did not like it, does allow for release of ALL items upon his death. The Video will be released once there is a settlement between Rod and the Filmer as far as both accuracy, review and compensation package agreed upon. I am NOT involved with the film maker on that part, other then I do get a first copy at no charge as well as credits in the Video for ownership and the like. Once a lot of these Legal issues are resolved with Rod, Lamborghini, Film maker and myself..then a LOT more and the full story will and can be released. Till then..it is what it is and on it goes.
As requested..what I think is safe to post and still follows my agreement (attached as well) So I am sure it will just add to more questions then answers..so have at it. Thanks Roy for the additional info. I am especially intrigued by the revelation of the video with Rod and the vehicle. Do you have any idea of just how Rod intends to release this video....through what venue? Of course, I'm still very interested to see photos of the vehicle after your restoration too! Just sayin'
The Video and the Vehicle with all its Documentation and completion, as I understand it, is looking around August this year..most likely Monterey..but I do not have the last say in that..so we will see what happens...I am sure a lot of skeptics and un-answered questions will be resolved when that happens. I look at it this way...regardless if it is 10% or 90% off the Geneva vehicle, I accomplished a few things that I am proud of 1) We have totally DIS-PROVED that the Geneva truck was EVER wrecked in a desert and never seen again. We know it came back to the USA and went to Michigan..FACT..so a lot of history things relating to its testing in the Arab Deserts and wrecking etc etc is not true...and I was able to bring that to FACT. 2) regardless if it had NOTHING from Lambo on it, (other then the Lambo Badge) it played a KEY role in the collaboration with USA and lambo payment (when they did) to develop the vehicle AND from there the M1 and on to the LM002 trucks as we know them today... IF IT were not for the Cheetah making it to Geneva and then to the Lambo Factory...we WOULD NOT have ever had a LM 002 truck..period..no question about that. What the value of it is for what it started...that is to each his own to decide.
