I guess I am still ignorant...seems like BOTH writings are saying the same thing...they were BOTH invloved in the project KNOWN has Cheetah...in one fashion or another...

OR maybe the vehicle on display in Genneva was just a paper toy proped up with visual effects..??

I open all threads in the Lamborghini section, and actually I derive significant pleasure from doing so. My aim is to contribute useful and accurate text, illustrations and imagery to the benefit of others in the community. I think I accomplish my goal routinely. My aim is also to prevent people like yourself from pulling the wool over he eyes of the unsuspecting in the community. I believe I succeed there too.

If a book can put someone through college, its plenty viable. Funnily enough, the Book of the 288 GTO (the next book you refer to) is about ready for publication, and as you know the Ferrari market has a larger scope.

Getting back to the Cheetah, you purchased a vehicle without completing due-diligence and that speaks to your modus operadii. Coming on here and bragging falsehoods is only an extension of that modus operandii.

Just an exepert of the volume of documented Data, Video and many other forms of print and FIRST HAND testomny we are putting together.

".... IMC originally designed and built the IMC built prototype under funding from Lamborghini and it is the vehicle that I took to Geneva......... I personally flew back to Italy some months later to retrieve the IMC built prototype, which was spirited away to hide it in Germany after I arrived at the factory. After round-the-clock negotiations with Rene Laimier (the Lamborghini President), his attorney and the Swiss financier the next day in Neuchatel, Switzerland. I agreed to extend our contract, Rene agreed to make some delinquent payments and finally agreed to surrender the vehicle in Frankfort a day later which he did … driven to Frankfort by the now famous Lamborghini test driver. I had it loaded in a 747 and accompanied it back to California............ "

I like you Roy, but I don't understand why you keep engaging Joe in petty arguments.

Because Joe seems like the instigator in most of these arguments and you play into his hands. He won't stop, so it's better not to address him in such cases. Just kinda childish.

    > 125 posts = karting
    > 250 posts = Formula Junior
    > 1000 posts = Formula 3
    > 2500 posts = F1 rookie
    > 5000 posts = F1 veteran
    >10000 posts = F1 World champ
    >20000 posts = Two Time F1 World champ

    Who is IMC?

I thought it was FMC who originally conceived the design, and they then sued MTI for stealing it from them. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lamborghini_Cheetah

We all know that Wikepedia can be amended by anyone, but in this case it is used to illustrate (as with many sources that are in fact quite accurate) that the conception company was FMC, hence the initial model was called FMC XR-311.

i've always loved Joe's insight, the man knows his lamborghini history!

but if Lamborghini publish something saying the Cheeta project was a collaboration between Lamborghini & MTI, then Roy is completely right for saying what he did.

There is no need for Joe to take on Roy, or vice versa, Joe might need to get Lamborghini to correct their historic details. After all, Buyers in 10, 20, 30, 100 years time, will only take note from Lamborghini, no one else.

Oh yeah lol, I bet Lamborghini would take the credit for that regardless.
But I think the guys already mentioned Lambo STILL being sued about this so maybe they would not take credit!

When will the Cheetah be shown to the public?
Any chances to see the car at the 50th anniversario in Italy?

No 50th, I believe Roy said August. But, very funny if it did the 50th because isn't a lawsuit still active? Would be cool to parade it in front of the executives........but I think the execs were infants during that time!

If is regarded as one of the coffin nails to lamborghinis bankrupt, so please leave that thing where it is.
