I am with that - being able to converse with people from many other countries led to Trevi going to see a car for me in Germany (what a dude!), and without his opinions I would not have travelled to Singen and would probably not now own a Ferrari, therefore would not have had the many hours of immense pleasure I have had.

So communal language = Ferrari happiness.

Plus, you guys do not realise how cute some of your not-quite-grammatically-perfect english posts are! Brilliant!

Roll on Swiss, English and Germans in Scotland is all I can say!

    g'Day Marchedge,

I am now firmly ensconsed (among a monumental pile of boxes) in St. Albans. When I'm back in December we should make the time to get together over something cold & wet!

    Cheers from Pretoria,Cheers, MARK

    Done deal Marc!

We should have a phone number by this Friday (if BT pitches up) and I will let you have our new number ASAP. Then all I need is an internet connection, but I will arrange ADSL when I get back on December 12.

Now all we need to do is convince Wolfgang to come over (to lean on another bad debtor perhaps?) and then we will really have a Euro quorum! ;)

    Cheers, MARK

hi trevi (and others who sent greetings)

I have just now looked at the 'Funky Ferrari' site.
I could be at home with the funkies
Forgot my yahoo passwd. I'll join later this evening

In the past I looked at some of the more formal chapters in Swizterland.
They make me feel a little claustrophobic.
(hope i'm not offending anyone here ;-)

    the science stuff...
I research computational processes in brains, and apply that to
    develop new 'neuro'-technologies
(electronic chips, robots, intelligent buildings, and the like)

    Hi Wolfgang,

Sure, but it's comforting to know that my car is safely locked away in a temperature and humidity controlled facility in the country. I had to do this as the house we are renting in St. Albans has no suitable garage space. Our hunt for better accommodation will redume in December.

    Cheers, MARK
