Great stuff but I wish they'd had someone proof-read it for them! Little things like cleaning the "pours" of the paint are annoying and leaving whole words out makes some of it hard to follow.

 

lol I wrote those and I agree, spelling is not my forte, although I have improved lately (runs sentence through spell check)

 

Like I said it is really great stuff but perceptions matter and it is really important to get stuff like this right. I read a very popular working photographer's blog whenever I get the chance. This guy has been on tv and gets lots of "exposure". He makes simple mistakes all the time and it spoils the read and, at least for me, lowers his marketability to some degree.

Love what you guys did with that Boxer - no washing the engine - amazing...

 

Thank you and I agree with you on spelling and the preception it creates. 100% true. My latest detail write ups should read much nicer as I actually put time into those (specifically the 328 and Gallardo threads).

Has the new AutoWeek hit your mailbox yet? I'm looking forward to seeing the writeup...as well as my name in the short list of recommended detailers. The article is mainly about you, right?

 

I don't know when the article comes out. I think it is going to be about a handful of good detailers, I don't (hope it doesn't)at think it will be about me, as that would be kind of wierd. Too many great detailers who deserve just as much credit IMO.

 

I know that it's the Feb 23rd issue, and I was pretty sure that Jon said it would hit subscribers' mailboxes starting today.

Thanks, I certainly appreciate it Todd. On another note, I'm going to have Rick Gideon's Marauder in my garage for a while giving it my best. It's now up to about 650hp! He built my new website for me. He says that he feels fortunate to have two of the best detailers named Todd work on his cars!

 

I think maybe having the name Todd is a prerequisite!
