I'd rather have her on the track than Maryeve Dufalt. We're all lucky someone didn't get killed in Montreal.

The only question is how long before she moves on from that effort.

Moving to NASCAR worked out well for Indy 500 and
series champions like Dario Franchitti and Sam Hornish, Jr.
    so good luck to her.

It will be interesting to watch (well, not really) what happens
    after the PR honeymoon ends.

NASCAR is great at kicking people to the curb when they're done with them.

I suspect Danica won't be driving in any series, anywhere in 2015.

the fix is in, man! :p

actually I wouldn't be surprised to see Danica win a race on a plate track; she seems to have taken to those pretty well. can't say she doesn't have the equipment...

    I'm aghast!

Are we suggesting NASCAR manipulates races in order
to produce the most melancholy finishes to keep attention
on their series? Gentlemen, these are very serious allegations!

My world is now offically shattered, ha!

Dunno about Franchitti and Hornish, Jr. Seems as though
they were with top outfits Ganassi and Penske in NASCAR
too and the sponsorship and results weren't there.

Will it really matter if Danica wins though? Seems like
Earnhardt Jr, Jr, Jr, hasn't won much on the track but
seems to be on top of the important fans' popularity
    lists.

Good luck to Danica though. It won't matter if she wins
or not as long as she generates tens of millions in t-shirt
and trinket sales everything will be just fine.

Hey...don't you go forgetting NHRA. They don't have to turn at all.

Please! I haven't been to a NASCAR race since the 1971 Southern 500. We slept in the infield Saturday night before in the back of an SS 396 El Camino. Whiskey bars, hohouses in motor homes, a band on a flatbed trailer, gunfire. I bet there's a little more law enforcement around today.

While it's become more "family friendly," there's still a lot of entertainment in the parking lots... ;)

She has taken a far more reserved approach than the others from Indycar (Not counting Stewart) instead of jumping in full time she has taken a slow learning approach which may well be the right way when jumping into a vastly different car than previously raced.
