...clearly demonstrated today. Kimi didn't give up an inch to MS, but still respected the pass, GF, on the other hand, showed us why he was never offered a race seat at Ferrari. KR and FM will be a formidable driver line up for next season.

An incredible race, an incredble performance by MS (and career), and an incredible season!

Congrats to FA and Renault (as much as Briatore's smirk makes me ill).

Schumacher should now pull an Alonso and say that GF tried to take him out, say that Renault cheats and that the FIA favors renault.

After GF cut down MS' tire, it almost looked like he was trying something else in the next turn. GF knew MS had a problem yet he went right up under him into the next turn and almost ran into the back of him.

    MS had the pass made.

I can't beleive that GF has the skill to have intentionally cut MS's tire...

GF losing control and Kimi's toilet humour on itv were definitely the funniest thing of the week-end.
Renault should bring Piquet Jr. for 2007, the Fisi show is over.

The reason they don't is they need someone who has the experience to do setup work. They should have got JPM somehow...

Indeed that's why they kept Fisi. 2 new rookies wouldn't have been such a great idea I admit.
Yes JPM should have been in a Renault or ....Villeneuve (ok prepare yourseft F1racer to get flame)
    Heck he's faster than Fisi.
    :)

When MS passed Raikonnen.... Raikonnen was 29 minutes away from driving the rest of his F1 career in a Ferrari

When MS passed Fisichella..... Fisichella was 1 hour and 49 minutes away from making sure his team won both the drivers and team titles for 2006.

I don't think it shows the difference between the two men at all.

It does show the difference between any one driver, that would have been in either of those exact situations today when MS tried to pass.

IMO, Fisi has only one last chance next season. if he doesn't perform, he migh as well call michael and get info of the best holiday spots around the world.

Don't get me started on how exciting a 3-way race between Fernando in a McLaren, JPM in a Renault and Kimi in a Ferrari would have been...
