Hi Roel, what can I say, I like the big B cars as much as the Ferraris. Just that I haven't had time to accumulate too many of them yet...

Carsten, I'll be back by March. Not sure what my travel plans are between now and then.

Looking forward to going home I suppose, and I understand you very well.....that's a long time being away from home!

Here my closest encounter with the Speed 8....although not car #7
The pic was taken in Schwetzingen, Germany in July 2003.....I'm the guy with the white cap and sneakers....

Well, I'm still concentrating on this one, since it has to be finished today.....something with the date and a funny coincidence...
It is very close now, I'm quite satisfied with the way the wheels turned out!
Now I only need to do a shaddow.....only slight shaddow under this car since it's very close to the ground, and the decals on the side of the diffuser at the back, and then.......well that should be it I think, and then I'll be concentrating hard on "The Gambler" for Todd, so I think there will be another update or two in that thread today as well!

    Thanks Brian,:)

Right now I spend all my time drawing, but this exact drawing has now been arround 50-60 hours (I just completed it)......some of my other drawings have taken as much as 80-90 hours to do! All depends on how complex the car/angle/details are, and if the drawing has been made with a background or a setting it will of course take more time to do!.....and I LOVE and enjoy every single minute of it :)

    Regards

    Carsten

Yes I saw that, but I think I lack the time for it right now.....I'm pretty busy for the time being!!! Otherwise it could be fun!! :)

Finished drawing of Tom Kristensen in the beautiful Bentley Speed 8 Le Mans winning car, and forever one of the most beautiful and succesful entries in that event!
This is my new All time favourite drawing......I think :) ;) Definately one of the best I've done so far.....IMHO!
And.....it's dated today the 7th. and 7 being Tom's lucky number, and the car also won the Sebring 12 hours earlier in 2003, so 7/12 is a perfect date for finishing this drawing I think.... :)
