It's not a done deal yet, but certainly looks promising. And btw: He will clinch the title next year. With Jaguar. His mother told me.

Did you notice my second Sauber driver? There is a good chance.

Also I wonder where Davidson and Villeneuve will end up in this puzzle.

Paffett, Davidson & Liuzzi have been linked to a Sauber drive.

I personally hope Anthony Davidson gets the spot because he has shown true pace on Fridays. Liuzzi will probably end up getting a test seat either at Sauber, or... maybe even at Ferrari (!?). Yes, even Ferrari are in talks with Liuzzi.

Coulthard will be a perfect fit for Jaguar Racing (Ford). He will continue to race. He might even end up on the podium (once, maybe, if lucky).

    EDIT:
    Ferrari and Vitantonio Liuzzi
Formula One champions Ferrari are staging 'secret talks' with runaway F3000 series-leader Vitantonio Liuzzi, it was reported in Wednesday's English media.

The Independent claims the Italian, emulating Michael Schumacher's feats with a string of wins, is seen as a potential replacement for the World Champion.

It was reported on Tuesday that Liuzzi, former karting world champion, is backed by Red Bull and in the running for Sauber or Jaguar race seats next season.

Only Juan Pablo Montoya and Nick Heidfeld won more races on the trot in F3000.

Ferrari are said to be watching the youngster's every move while Jean Todt and Schumacher are keen to give him a testing berth next year.

just read that Webber has signd for Williams and Fisi was announced by Renault to take Trulli's place and Renault expected Trulli to be announcing his move to Toyota.

I think the dude moves are JPM to McLaren where I think they both deserve each other but I think they will make millions selling the "secret" tapes of conversations between RD and JPM :)

I do not think Jaguar will take on Davidson. That would make the team too inexperienced. I really think Coulthard will go there. Finally he actually will get number 1 treatment (er, probably).

I think DC should just slip into retirement with JV and Panis
I never rated JV as anymore than a greedy git who got lucky enough to be in a Williams when they were at the top of the field.

Button and Sato have shown that the team just needed to have some more money for the TEAM instead of one oversized ego.

Don't be too quick to jump to say that, it might come back to haunt you. There is big possibility JV will be back at Williams next year.

But I do agree about Coulthard and Panis. When its time to go, its time to go... no point in dragging it out... except for the money! :D

JV has already a close encounter with one Aussie (Danny Minogue:)) so don't think he would be too keen to be joining another one :)

Seriously I don't think FW would tolerate JV anymore than Ferrari would, nobody wants to widen their car to fit his ego in it.

Loved his father who was an accident looking for a place to happen but waas he ever the quintessential racer or what ?!!

It took me 5 years to get over what Schumi did to JV at Jerez but I think they'll be renting ice skates in hell before I warm to Jarques :)

    HAHAHAHAHA! :D

I think JV has a chance with Williams. Sir Frank Williams likes drivers that are a pain in the neck. Just look at his love for Montoya the Maniac. I think it would be fun to see JV throw a wrench into any progress Williams make with Webber.

Schumacher did what Schumacher had to do! He is the greatest F1 racer of all time. I do not doubt his judgement under any sistuation in F1.
