James Glickenhaus and Pininfarina, congratulations with the P4/5 and thanks for giving us all this beauty to behold. And not least, enjoy it DJ --
Jim, It was nice meeting you. Do you have or has any already been posted, pictures of p4/5 on the street along with normal traffic. Like the picture you did of 0846 in traffic. john
Out of curiosity, when Sal and I followed behind from the Gooding tent, was that the first time it was driven on US roads?
I think Paolo drove it up from the truck earlier but am not sure. http://www.forbes.com/2006/09/11/ferrari-enzo-custom_cx_dl_0912vow.html?partner=forbeslife_newsletter
When we heard it at the show it sounded like popping when you hit the gas. I would take it that under an actual load it would be a much more linear sound. Did you redline it? What is the redline? Peter Hatch
I hope it's NOT a repost (or at least new to somebody) http://up.autotitre.com/forum/up/db54ab265a.jpg http://up.autotitre.com/forum/up/eda574af0b.jpg http://up.autotitre.com/forum/up/11c1476991.jpg Quote from Forbes "No price is available for the P4/5, but each of the 400 Enzos Ferrari built costs $650,000. " get me 2 at that price ! LOL
Sal reports that he took a good hard drive in pouring rain and all is well. Wipers/defroster/seals/ all work very well. Tires are fine in rain and computers are all running with no faults. Took her to local Ferrari dealer and she hooked right up to computer without any issues. We'll clean her up and take her to Paris.
Great to hear Jim! Be sure to have fun with her on that side of the pond. Any pictures of the P4/5 in the rain? Peter Hatch
Ken Okuyama has quit Pininfarina .but he leaves the design house with a nice portfolio of ferrari's to his credit..with the last being shared on the P4/5 with Castriota. http://www.pininfarina.com/index/press/cosCorp.html?index.php&p=529
Hi Where did you see: "but he leaves the design house with a nice portfolio of ferrari's to his credit..with the last being shared on the P4/5 with Castriota." ??? Best Failure is an orphan. Success has many parents...
I guess this is a personal opinion. Pininfarina's press release doesn't say this, but its wording does raise questions in my mind about the events leading up to this announcement. Well said. BTW, congratulations on the success of your fantastic project - I'm certain it will be the star of the Paris show.
Jim, It was my personal opinion on Ken Okuyamas work, and it was not in the press release, sorry for not quoting it, my mistake....,
