I'm thinking about VW's "W" engine configuration. Could the wider rear track be necessary to fit around a W16 engine assembly? Two V8s connected together could make a W engine with two opposing 4 cyl. assemblies, boxer style.
    A real show stopper.

No engine is US Enzo. Wider track is due to one off wheels and different tires.

Of course they would have to be 60 degree V8s.

I replaced the XWXs on my 246 GTS/flares with Mickey Thompson Indy tires. It lowered the top speed from 140 MPH to 128 but boy did it handle like a kart!

Looking forward to seeing your one off, especially the nose.

Obviously, we all know Jim's not doing it for anything but the money, but it's safe to assume that the arm motion he makes taking the covers off of it at Pebble will be the easiest 3+ million he's ever made, and then some.

That said, you can't put a price on something that was created in the soul. As 18th century philosopher Georg Hegel once said: "Nothing great in the world has been accomplished without passion." Shouldn't have any problems there. :]

I think Dustin was joking. (Note :] ) I think he understands that this is done for passion.

Tomorrow is the day... will it be broadcasted or is it an internal affair for the local spectators?

    Hi

I really don't know nor am I sure how much or will or won't appear but I suspect if any does it will be local and a very quick cut. I some how doubt NBC is going to broadcast anything that someone doesn't pay big $ per second and "cut to commercial".

The one thing I was very impressed with when I visited the Olympics was the depth and breath of Pininfarinia's design. The Torch and Torch Tower were extremely moving.

    Dustin

Once again internet misunderstanding emoticons. Knowing Ron I think all he was saying is that he's glad that you feel the Passion.

Interestingly "Where Passion Lives" is Torino's Olympic motto. After seeing how they've staged the Olympics I think it's a very accurate one.

this sounds like its going to be a work of art like few cars of modern times. cheers for making something special in this day and age of 'unique whips' that focus on most of the wrong elements that makes the automobile special.

i look forward to updates here :)

its too early for me to tell if i can make it to PB... but im guessing there isn't much of a chance it will make any tours through Michigan this summer?

As soon as we know unveiling plans we'll make sure FCHATTERS know where and when and there will be many public showings of the car throughout the world as there are many public showings of all of my cars.
