Jim - You're not taking her out in the snow are you? I would actually love to see it doing some slides in a snowy parking lot... but at the same time I'd cry to see a work of art being abused like that! haha
Glad to see this thread is still alive... I still can't believe I was there front and center to watch your son take the cover off the car at the release! Amazing machine.
that is the one-off Maserati Boomerang.. for more info http://www.***************.com/frame.php?file=car.php&carnum=538 it came to attend the pre Villa d'Este Press Conference during the Geneva Motor Show in 2006. The car duly appeared at Villa d'Este, driven by road from Nice, with 4 punctures and many long stops at toll booths to get the tickets out...(Sorry Jim, don;t want to steal this thread)
That's awesome, I'll take two, but let Jim have the first one. Cause I definately have that kind of cash Peter Hatch
I have met a few customers of very special one off cars, prototypes etc, and they seem to be very leery of really driving them. It seems to be that as the average prototype price is well above one million dollars that such is a sad use of money, if not driven. I met a man in California who owns an original Teardrop Coupe and he drives it from time to time. With a real car enthusiast, you would expect the cars to be driven - because a real car enthusiast will have the energy to restore and maintain. Regards, -Jon
