I apologize. I see now why that was an incredibly idiotic question to ask. I thought he posted that picture to show where he lived...not cause the P 4/5 was in the picture. I was at work and not thinking clearly. Actually, I can't dig myself out of this one. You got me, that was very stupid of me We all have our moments
Thanks!! FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE For More Information Contact: Scott Black at (214) 520-3430 ARTIST BILL NEALE TO COMMEMORATE FERRARI P4/5 WITH ORIGINAL PAINTING AT PEBBLE BEACH CONCOURS CARMEL, Calif. May 24, 2007 A painting by renowned American artist and Automotive Fine Arts Society member Bill Neale that celebrates the amazing Ferrari P4/5 will be unveiled at the 55th Annual Pebble Beach Concours dElegance on August 19, 2007. The piece, titled Red Beauty, will be the centerpiece of his exhibit that is part of the AFAS show in Carmel, Calif. Sponsored by the Lincoln Division of Ford Motor Company, the amazing art show on the 18th fairway of the Lodge at Pebble Beach will include automotive subjects in a variety of mediums including watercolors, acrylics, oils, wood and various metals. AFAS members create works for art connoisseurs and auto enthusiasts throughout the world. I had the opportunity to see this amazing car in person when it made its public debut at the 2006 Pebble Beach Concours, said Neale. It is an electrifying design that embodies both classic cues and contemporary aerodynamics. The car was so impressive that I was rooted to the ground and inspired to create a piece that honors this Ferrari. Red Beauty is a 22 x 28 acrylic on canvas that features the Ferrari P4/5 by Pininfarina against the backdrop of Pebble Beach. The lush red hue of the paint highlights the bold lines of the car and contrasts starkly against the dark cypress limbs in the background. Neale placed three awe-struck men in the background to give the car both scale and context. With its warm lighting and perfect details, the painting has a nostalgic ambiance that matches the modern classic. The car is a specially commissioned Ferrari that was rebodied by Pininfarina at the request of James Glickenhaus. The project began when Glickenhaus purchased a Ferrari Enzo and sent it to Pininfarina's design studio.
