I hope you do make Goodwood this year, so I can make good on the fact that last year when some american guy offered to open the door of P4/5 so I could get a better look inside, I looked at him wondering who the hell he thought he was!! Sorry Jim!! But thanks also in a way, as it was after that trip that I started logging on here to try to educate myself a bit! So I credit you with opening up the world of FerrariChat to me!

I'm sure you've been asked it before but what does Napolis mean? Polis means city in Greek, or is it possibly related to Neapolis meaning new city?

 

I don't know, but the first thing I thought/ think of when I see the name is Indianapolis.

Edit: On a somewhat happier note, I don't think I'm ever going to catch onto this new avatar. Every time I see it I think "Jim sent me that picture a while back." Until, of course, I realize it is you.

 

When I was the Designated Driver for a group of my friends who had had a bit too much one of them tried to say: "You're driving like an Indianapolis Driver" but it came out as Napolis which my old friends still call me.

I feel very left out about your latest car.

How long have you had the Dino Competizione for? Now you may have to make five cross country trips to ride in my Mustang. Just bring a different car every time. Ie. P4/5, 0846, J6, MK IV, and now this latest beauty.

I'm still jealous of the fact that you've gotten two new cars in the time it's taking me to get my one "new" car on the road. Damn California smog/taxes/insurance rates for teenage guys, or I would have it on the road by now!

Looking through the new Car and Driver -- page 111 - there's an ad for their new desk calendar. Looks like the P4/5 is the cover of the box! From the looks of it - looks like it's the clay model / photoshop picture - since the seat colors aren't red in the real thing.
