Here is short video of a interview whit the owner of the ferrari p4/5 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wfjWwGPtAls
It was done. But the Freemasons were jealous of his car, so they would'nt put him into office... Best, Jon
Haven't been in this thread for a while, nice to see it's still going strong. Hope P4/5 is giving you many miles of enjoyment Jim!
Jim, I remember not too long ago, about 80 posts back that you said your car would be parading the Bahrain GP?
Hi P 4/5 and Dino Competizione will be exhibited in the F1 Enclosure on Race Day. Due to logistics it will not be possible to move them from their display on GP day but on Monday and Tuesday they will have the run of the F1 track with several friends. There will be a very nice selection of Ferrari's in the display. Two other FCHATTERS will be there as well with their cars.
I'll be watching the race on Speed hoping to see it on track! Jim, do you take it to Festival of Speed events? this year has St. Pete, Orlando & Ft. Lauderdale hosting events.
I did take her last Summer to the Goodwood FOS but this year the only other planned event that's definite is Quail. I want to drive her for a while.
Peter, Sorry if I haven't replied. The reason being is, as with the FXX registry, I didn't find the time to keep it regularly updated. Unfortunatly when I checked on it I noticed I let the renewal lapse and some other company snagged up the domain. Also, I'm not a web developer and the basis of the site originally was really to help get information out about the car during it's launch to help minimize all of the redundancy that happened on FChat. As I recall, you may have been interested in continuing the website? If you do let me know, I still have everything from it I can forward to you. You'll just have to use a different domain Thanks, Walter
Not sure if this has been discussed in a while - I checked going back a few pages... Jim; Any news on the scale model? I know there are probably 100's of us out there who are dying to have their "own" P4/5's added to their collection... Thanks! Andre
Something I had completely forgotten. Thanks for bringing that to the forefront of my mind. If anything, it will bring me a good dream tonight. I wouldn't mind seeing a dark blue P4/5. Peter Hatch
Still trying to resolve licensing issues regarding the Model, staying with her original color for the time being. I'm also having my new ALfa 8C painted "P 4/5" Red. Best
Your P4/5 made me jealous when I saw it at Goodwood's FOS last year (I did have the briefest of chats with you about it on the Friday, whilst you were just warming her up just before going up the hill on your first run, but you must have spoken to so many people that weekend and since I'm not surprised if you don't recall) Your new (!) Dino made me even more so Now you are getting an 8C? Can't wait to see the pics of all 3 together
with regards to changing the body, P4/5 isn't set up for a prototype-like quick change is it? You can just undo a few easily accessible screws, unplug the quick disconnect for the lights and reverse the proceedure to put on a new body panel. My guess is this is impractical for a road car giving the possibility of having the body stolen, but is it like this? That would be a pretty interesting concept especially with how lightweight carbon fiber is you could have a buddy or even you wife give you a hand and change the body style at will when ever you want. Just a quick thought. Alex
