LOL that pic (probably lookinig at the water cooler or garbage can)! Jim, Im sincerely starting to think about joining you guys in August.
"The idea that an areo efficient design has to look a certain way or can't be beautiful is simply not true." If you can prove this, I'll contribute to the construction of a Sphinx bearing your likeness. Music to my ears.
Jim Is it going to be debuted at pebble or the Targa? My other half has been persuaded that we need at least one holiday this year somewhere I want to go..............and I havent been to either PB or the TF yet Ps you really are nuts (meant in the nicest possible way) and I'm sure it will stun the automotive world....just got to make sure the most important details and pics don't leak out
Pebble. 002C and 0846 will be at the Targa. Tony Friends are always welcome. Bill I think her NYS plate answers that: 612 P 4/5
I've only skimmed this thread, so I don't know what you've revealed, Jim, but that name provides all the answers...I'm amazed. Somehow, I have to get to Pebble Beach this year.
will this register as a kit car or an enzo? I've seen something that might resemble the final product, looks awesome.
Vin # is US Enzo which is already registered and has NY Plate as described. (2003 Ferrari) It's like your car which although modded is legally a Vette.
Will, I too would contribute. Instead of a Sphinx, I know where there is a 25 foot tall Cavallino made of polished stainless steel.
Nope. There were quite a number of Enzo designs before they settled on the final Enzo. I suspect that was one but ours is quite different, much curvier.
This is gonna be the longest and most exciting tread of the year. Thank you Jim, for sharing your passion on this board.
The reason I ask is recently I came to the conclusion that the F60 should be the P6 and have a dome top as seen in early Enzo sketches. The opacity of the glass could be adjusted like in the SA but a dome top would have different zones, e.g. driver, passenger, windshield, roof, etc. Now that the P6 name may be taken, Ferrari could call the F60 the Batista, after Senior Farina. Wish I was going to PB this year. -F
I thought this project was supposed to be kept a secret! I guess the cat is out of the bag.... 612 P4/5....
I want a pic! Anything, a shot of a mirror, fender, light, wheel, exhaust.... IM DYING HERE! Youre living my dream, I am jealous and everyone else here should be too...
