I see it as luck-o-the-draw... Some cars just were built poorer than others. Some might have been finished on a day when the boys in Maranello had an extra carafe of Chianti at lunch, I don't know. Some owners beat the crap out of 'em, or just plain don't know how to drive a Ferrari well. Their cars maintenance costs reflect their ineptitude. No more, no less.
YEP!!!!! I miss that car BIGTIME!!!!!! As far as performance it beats the 355 hands down, super reliable, and actually gets more attention, if of course thats your thing They are also VERY rare by comparison. Less than 200 cars a year I believe..... To be honest, I'm looking for another.
Heres a video of Clarkson comparing the Esprit against the F355. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=u9eLBpLqdUk
If you can do a bit of diy they both can be maintained quite reasonably however a 360 on full chat sounds tame compared to a 355. To all you guys let's put it this way if you had to choose between Hilary Clinton and say Beyoncé would you choose Hilary would maintenance be a major factor??
over 2 years tires and a clutch... I wish there was a engine out service video series like there is for the 348
