That was my first thought too, as I also visited the show in 1995. But the F355 World Tour was in 1997 and that was on display too.

If I recall correctly this was when LDM joked about the new range of colours, especially blue colours, saying that Ferraris weren't going to be red anymore. Was it at that time they introduced fabulous Grigio Alloy and Azzurro Califonia I believe? I would also bet 1997 as the F355 range was complete by then (and some other memories of mine).

I found a picture labelled IAA 1995, many similarities indeed, but I believe we're looking at different year shows.

Are you guys sure that in 1997 an F50 was still shown at the IAA Frankfurt? Production of the F50 was almost completely finished by the time of the show (11-21 September 1997).
The last red F50 for Germany was delivered July 1997. Two more were built for Germany but those two were yellow, not red.
I do not think there was a red F50 at the 1997 IAA Frankfurt, but yes, there was the red 103114 at the 1995 show. Two years earlier.

Honestly I'm just guessing and basing on memories, 1995 seemed too soon for the various blue F355's but 1997 indeed a bit late as you say for the F50.

Just off the top of my head, I can think of 5 cars that could be bought or have traded recently with sub-5,000 miles... 6 including Joe's car.

I don't think there is a register and I don't know what the worldwide count is like, that said I can offer that we have four (4) clients who have all 5 at this time, one of whom purchased the last 4 new and still has the quintet so far.

I should clarify that I meant to type "sub-2,000" miles, similar to Joe's car, but couldn't / can't seem to edit the post.

I just noticed the first post of this thread - that first video is one of my two favorite car videos, the other being the opening scene of the “Cannonball Run” - :)

There is a seller of the full set of 5, of which 3 are one owner brand new unregistered cars with delivery mileage. The 288 and F40 are both under 10,000km. All it takes is money !
