is the black one, the MacNeil car or the high miles one?
Not a Brunei F50 or the Mc Neil car, that's my favorite F50 of all time, the irrepressible ZFFTG46A4S0104799 currently with @ 63,000 miles, the epitome of a Supercar life well-lived. 1 of only 2 Nero USA F50s made by Ferrari SpA. Engine number 41201. Nero paint with Nero (8500) interior. 12/1995 Factory build date. 12/24/1996 sold new to Dean Becker in Chicago, IL. 04/1999 featured in the “FORZA” magazine, issue 16. 2000 sold by Ferrari of Beverly Hills to second owner Jim Spiro, New Orleans, LA who daily-drove it to work and racked up over 36,000 miles. 01/2001 shown at Cavallino Classic Concours D'Elegance, Palm Beach. 08/2002 sold with 37,000 miles to Dan Heard of Baton Rouge LA. 12/2002 color featured in “Sport Car Market” magazine. 01/2003 shown at Cavallino Classic Concours D'Elegance by Dan Heard. 2012 sold to Gordon Grant. 10/2013 frontal accident in a street racing incident. 2014 sent back to Ferrari SpA in Italy who repaired & fully restored it at a cost of $450,000 via Carrozzeria Peraro. 2016 Ferrari factory Classiche Certifed. 2017 sent back to the USA. 2018 sold to a California based enthusiast. 2019 seen at Thunderhill Raceway. 08/2019 shown at Casa Ferrari in Pebble Beach, CA with 62,000 miles. 08/2022 seen variously over the Pebble Beach weekend. Didn't 104799 have the engine replaced as well? Either way, perfect candidate for a usable F50 - good to see it's getting just that! Edit - no engine change according to the Bonham's listing in 2018.
Original engine with @ 63,000 miles. Jim Spiro started it's life on the road way back in 2000, and it's continued ever since.
Just popped out for a drive in mine and called in on my local Land Rover dealer to check on my Defender order. Thought the guys there might appreciate a look at her! Image Unavailable, Please Login

The miles shouldn’t be the talking point of this car. All of the adventures should be. Showing the miles simply presents an unnecessary distraction in the present day story of an otherwise unique and spectacular car.

seeing lots of miles is very cool though, lots of respect to the guy who daily drove his f50! a friend of mine unfortuently passed away very unexpectedly a few weeks ago, he owned many nice cars and now he's not here it kind of really put it in perspective to me and how important it is to live life whilst you can and for me this extends to enjoying cars as they should be
Sorry but I respectfully disagree, the miles are documented proof of the fact that this car has had many more adventures than most F50s and in the world of low-mileage worship, that's the story, those miles are a celebration of the purpose of the car so they should be seen, as underscored with other Supercars such as the F40 with almost 100,000 kms that is regularly enjoyed, the Enzo with 100,000 miles, etc. IMO they should give prizes at events for most miles. Indeed.
In the right car the miles are the adventure! No destination needed, just the driving experience itself!!!
Well, we can disagree on that but the photo I posted was from our private track day st Thunderhill in 2020 (it was 2020 and not 2019) so the miles on it then are fewer in number than the miles on it now. I couldn’t even tell you what the miles are on it now. When I drove it in Monterey last week, I never looked once. But I can tell you stories of where we went and what we did and the fun we had. I don’t know stories of miles; I know stories of epic adventures in legendary cars with great friends. So to me, that’s the story.
And now I'll disagree with you. I'd say thats the beauty of using the car the way you intended. Too many here say if you buy a low mile car you cannot drive it. I see it done regularly. Our own TR was bought with 1000 miles at 10 years old. Its been getting driven ever since. Like many, I don't mind a car with patina. It just needs to be my patina. Thats not my saying either. A long term client/friend/collector taught it to me. If you by an F50 with 1000 miles people will say you will lose money by driving it. Same has been true with every car I have purchased. I by cars to drive, some others do not, none are wrong but I'll never lose sleep over seeing a very low mile example being driven exactly like Ryan was driving that one. Somehow some here seem to think their use of their Ferrari is the only valid one. Life is short, there are no mulligans. Do it your way and screw everyone else.
