I never stated this F50 has ever been (physically) to the Netherlands. I said that the original owner EDC is from The Netherlands. This doesn't mean the vehicle ever made it to that country. PS: What was your real name again? I could not find it in post #4025 or I must have overlooked it? Marcel Massini
My name is Nicolás and my partner is Juan. I understand you never stated that it was physically in the Netherlands but its implied in your message, and its not only my perception as the user in message #4017 also understood it that way. I don't know for sure the nationality of EDC, but everyone i've asked told me he was Portuguese, its perfectly possible he had a different nationality though. ¿Is there anything else i've said you don't agree with? Apart from the km, which i currently don't have any info about, i believe the description in Insider Auctions is correct.
Lets just agree to disagree on this, interpretation is subjective, and its normal for people to understand things differently, especially considering english is neither of ours native language. It's been a pleasure discussing this with you, and i hope that between the information you provided and what we provided we've helped other users understand the history of this specific F50. I would appreciate it if you confirmed the rest of the information i've provided. Thank you.
Bidding on #106890 is done at 4,450,000 USD. Per IA's format it is not clear whether this met reserve or not. Later this week I will trawl through their Instagram replies for cryptic hints as to whether the car sold or not. I have archived the result before it gets sucked into the internet black hole: https://web.archive.org/web/20230507180045/https://insider-auctions.com/live-auction/
Anyone know which USA F50 this was displayed in the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas years ago? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks Marcel, the images are not mine but they are from about a dozen years ago, when last I was there years ago Steve Wynn's Nero/Cuoio Enzo was in that same spot.
I was going though some old things over the weekend and came across this. I was given this by the only official Ferrari dealer in Auckland, New Zealand at the time. Not sure if they were specific to NZ but they did say only a handful were given out here.
Fascinating stuff. Thanks Mr Massini. My F50 is number 280/349. S/N 106895. Her engine number is #45366. And she was first delivered in October 1997 via Kroymans in the Netherlands. Presume it was a Dutch run?
106895: Assembly #25138. 20 February 1997 build start. 9 April 1997 completion date. Gearbox #394. Body #224. New via Kroymans to Sascha H. in Germany. After he passed away the widow kept it and only in 2006 sold it to Harry v.d.M. in The Netherlands. 2008 that man sold it back to Kroymans. 2015 at Macari's, you know all the rest. Marcel Massini
It's been repainted back to its original red a long time ago already and currently lives in Florida. Marcel Massini
Do we know who did the blue paint job? Not owner but who was the actual painter? Loved seeing that one around Houston.
Any idea if the yellow F50 at Curated has sold? And if so, at what price? (It did not stay long in their for-sale inventory). The japan yellow F50 has been on for a while and the expectation is for it to go at north of $6m.
