Jim I know you have a wonderful one off but is there anything that would prevent Ferrari thru pininfarina , from using styling cues from your car to incorporate into the new car shown here . resulting in a somewhat bad sequel so to speak .. Gary Espada 8394
PF did agree in writing not to use any P 4/5 cue's on any other car. As I understand it PF is only marginally involved with the F70 if at all. That said in Italy who knows what anyone will or won't do...
If you buy a car the rights of the technology and design ideeas are not yours, but car makers. I think Jim didn't design the car, he is not an Engineer, he is not an artist.
Do you have a pic of P 4/5 from a similar angle? I'm having a hard time visualizing your car in my head.
Is there some part of Pininfarina, clearly specified in writing, produced P 4/5 as a work for hire and that ALL P 4/5 IP is, by contract, owned soley by me, that you are unable to understand? Or that under the same signed contract that PF can not use any styling cues of P4/5 for anyone but me? Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'd say the grille on the rear window is just tape. Deliberately trying to make the disguised window look like P4/5? That's my guess, they do that kind of things sometimes.
And what part of p4/5 is similar to the f70? the band tape from the rear window on the f70 with your cuts in the window?? or that the window is similar because it shrinks on the rear side? On f70 the rear window is separated from the rest of the desing, on your p4/5 it is integrated on the hole top of the body.
This is your answer to: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=141892683&postcount=2960 ??? LOL
Be that as it may, there's nothing there that is incompatible with the mule shots. Unlike some other sketches.
they know that car will weight 1100 kilos? they have some source of information? or maybe it's just journalists fantasy, then what is the sense of buying this magazin !!!
There is no way a V12+Kers with today's safety requirement will weigh 1100kgs. That is the weight of a Gumpert Apollo which has a 4.2 V8 without any airbags and KERs.
