Mike, it can't and doesn't anywhere near 2,400lbs. The would mean it would weigh less than an FXX evo, that isn't happening. It weighs over 3,000lbs, at least one version does. FWIW I have now heard the engine (a friend sent me an audio clip) and it sounds amazing (IMO).

    I agree.

Along with a photo of the bare tub (and not the one they showed at Paris (which I *think* had some panels added to cover a few details) it's starting to come together in my mind. :D

In my mind the front is going to look like an ace of spades from above.

You mean taking one of the most popular google search results for Ferrari F70 and imposing it onto a natural landscape?

That's worth of the school of Impressionism. ;)

True, and there's only one per side, the other must be hidden.
Wonder if it is for legality matters or we will see vertical pipes as in the california.

Also the black tape on the back window must be hiding horizontal holes similar to f40 and p4/5 but thinner I think

I was hoping he would give a few more comments on the looks, he wasn't crazy in his post about the F12 before it was shown.

    If I didn't like it, I would but .....

As with most new products, Ferrari set the standard in terms of technological innovation and design that others then try to emulate. For example, the McLaren 12C...think about it objectively...it has styling cues from a 360 and is as close to a copy mechanically and performance wise of a 458. The spider version is a cut and paste of the 458.....

The F12 is a front engined GT with the handling precision of a 458...who else can produce that? The Aventador is an engine but the rest is awful....

The FF is a masterpiece that no other constructor comes even close to emulating...

And then, bearing in mind that racing improves the breed, the 458 has won EVERYTHING notwithstanding fierce competition from BMW, Mercedes, Corvette, Aston Martin and McLaren (who have failed miserably with their 12C thus far).....

So the new Supercar will not disappoint. The chassis already seen in Paris, uses carbon technology NEVER seen before in a road car so mechanically it will be a lot more interesting than the P1 which has a tuned version of the 12C engine (remember NOT built by McLaren) coupled to electric motors. (Toyota do the same on a Prius...).

10 years on, the Enzo continues to be a reference, 25 years on the F40 is alive and well but who remember the Porsche 959?

    Etc, etc...

We are tifosi which is why we chat on this site. Ferrari continue to create dreams in an ever more difficult world. We should be thankful for that!!!
