Based on most planning to keep theirs forever or close to it, this should certainly keep the demand and value up…. On top of the other obvious reasons we all think the F8 is going to hold quite strong.

    Counter argument, take a look how many are listed for sale on cargurus. 92 spiders and 80 coupes. There are 115 488 spiders and 103 488 coupes. Tons on the market right now.

    Listings have balloned.
    My rationale--get the GTB. If don't like, buy an available F8 again.

    When I got my F8 8 months ago there were 42 spiders and 30 coupes listed.

    Love it, Kirk! I see you got a camera this time, . I bet Jo likes it….

    Aluminum calipers have grown immensely on me since they came with the Challenge car ( first Ferrari brakes that actually work on track )

    She does and even drives it. Also who ever heard of the DVD option. Who the hell would order that ? Apparently the person who ordered my car did. I’m not sure how to use it but it’s in the trunk.

    I have an F8 spider and a 488 pista
    Everyone says they are very similar, but they scratch different itches for me

    I have a 296 GTS on order and I’m getting ready to spec it soon but I can’t imagine selling my f8 for it, I agree with all the comments here, it’s just so classically beautiful

    I have an 812 GTS coming and a 750 spider on order as well. I think I went a little aggressive with the allocation requests.

    I have no idea what I’m going to sell….

    Too funny, my 458 has the DVD option also. Ashamed to admit I have no idea where it is in the car and never changed the DVD from the previous owner (5 years ago). At the time, the HiFi stereo option was a 'must have' for me, and the 458 is so loud I never use the radio at all.

    In the F8 I use the HiFi option all the time, and love XM tunes while cruising down the road.

    I plan to keep F8 likely for a long time as it is last of V8. It is beautiful (especially horizontal headlight and S duct), elegant yet aggressive, useable (I daily drive it), first car I had in past 30 years that I felt it is fast enough in stock form (rolling acceleration). Many cars does awesome 0~60mph then fall flat on its face like my 22 NSX Type S. Usually I get used to speed so fast. It still wow me sometimes even compare to family Model X Plaid. Likely 2 more faster cars for me after F8, F8 not going anywhere, then I am going retro. Speciale, SF90, gated F355 would complete my desire for Ferrari.

    When F8 was first introduced, I went to the big unveil event in LA, it was quite a massive event, they also shown quite a few previous generations of V8 including CS, Speciale, side by side. I had 17 488GTB at the time. At first I thought F8 was just meh on paper other than the stunning look, a 488 with 50hp bump, money grab by Ferrari. Relucantly I went to the F8 test drive a few months later and test drove it. I was puzzled and amazed by the improvement in responds and how rapidly it can pick up speed, freaking 720S like rolling acceleration (test drive was in 2019, at the time 720S was bench mark for speed and hell of machine, still is) and better responds than 488GTB off the line by a lot. Then I looked into the details on how they did it, Ferrari magazine #42 has long detail on F8. Since then I know I had to have one.

    On another note, I will be looking to install the Novitec race exhaust on the F8 next summer. Naturally, no installers in my neck of the woods. Any ideas about downstate options?
Cauley will do it.
Thanks Buddy! I will talk with Joe at my annual service in July.

    I only hope to keep my F8. Of course I am biased towards F8 more than 458/488, but I really like the blend of curves and straight lines on the F8. 458 is beautiful too but a bit too feminine for me. Very subjective of course!

    By FAR I like the looks of the 458 better and even more so the Speciale. Talk about sexy lines and no gaping fish hole in the rear quarter along with a caved in door look. Sorry those do not work for me at all.

    I had a 458, then a 488, and now an F8. Sorry, but the F8 blows away its predecessors in each and every way.

    Speciale and SpecialeA last of the Pininfarina imputs and not like a cookie cutter Corvette, or anything else that has those fish gulls in the rear quarters so it loses in each and every way.

    no

    458 = perfect design

    488 = awkward design

    F8 = over design

    Pininfarina, you are sorely missed
