Wha-hay check this D, this is where I had my op... The Walton Centre - Hospital building named after F1?s Prof Sid Watkins
Almost, but not quite...... Unless you were way ahead of your time. Which is of course possible..... All joking aside, that's a pretty cool gesture. Now, if they'd name the new pit complex at Silverstone something like "the Watkins wing", we'd all be happy. Cheers, Ian
I have a good sense of humor and can laugh about Fernando Sucks threads. No problem. But to say that Hamilton, with DNFs and not much to show until coming to MB is better than Alonso is silly fan boy talk. Hamilton locks up his brakes and flats spots his tires on basically EVERY race! Not Alonso. Kimi goes off track and makes headlines. And Ham was having a hard time until Nico cut his tire. Alonso beats the crap out of that POS F14T which everyone here KNOWS is a complete dog. And Alonso is still in the top of the grid. I was so hoping he would stay and ride it out for a better car but maybe he is too old and Vettel has more time? It wasn't so long ago that Vettel was crashing into Webber and doing crazy stuff. And even now, the new RB is more loose and I think Ric has a better time with the drifting style they are left with. What Ferrari needs is POWER and not some gripmeister aero kid. The aero can be changed, the engine can not. THAT is the problem at SF. Wait till next year. If McLaren Honda has a good engine next year and Alonso is there. He may still suck, but he will be on the podium kicking butt.
Alonso even sucks at announcing his next team...although by the way things are going i'm not sure if there will be any teams left next year.....he should get that Porsche drive and then say he is driving the car alone, that nobody helps him in the team..you know, his typical talk...
Today showed how "good" crashgate Alonso is. Couldn't pass kimi on much older tires till the team told him to let Alonso pass. I hope the news he leaves ferrari will be announced soon I actually wil like the scud much better without Alonso who brought us zero titles the last 5 years
He's still holding out hopes that lewis will lose the championship and having a fallingout with mercedes and he can then slide into the seat for 2016.
I can't stand Alonso, but anyone who can't plainly see he's a true master in the car is blind. Honestly, I'm happy he's leaving, but won't deny his speed. Mark
