    Well, ONCE you get it to him it will be finished in a month but you need to book ahead, he's very busy, the good ones always are :)

    I've noticed that the restoration/rebuild industry has been running hot for quite some time and it's not just the Italian exotics. The machine shop doing my 427 block has a backlog that runs to months (I'm hoping to get to the front of the queue this week) the owner blaming a shortage of skilled machinists coupled with high demand.

    Similar story with race car shops, Superior Automotive in Sydney (who look after GBG's F1 Ferraris) are flat out and turning away work.
