I can't tell any difference from the supplied pic which includes yours as a reference as a known import and some that are know Aussie. If a mod or someone else doesn't like this pic posted I'm happy for it to be taken off...for some reason you can only post full size and not the click onto one's when the format was changed.
I thought the letters in the vin would give the original market - but I think AS covers Australia, Japan and Asia so it doesn't really identify if Aus delivered. Thanks for taking the trouble to post.
Agreed....there is a guy in the U.K. That has the Maranello Concessionaries info of what cars were exported.

On the subject of Aus delivered cars,If like Karen said the 308 carb cars were very low volume,Which was the first model to be officially imported on a larger scale? Was it the Mondial,328,348?
I don’t think he will know, I thought Maranello Concessionaires ceased to be involved with Aussie delivered cars in the mid 90s??? The old men on here would know more
