Me too. But if you’re going to call it overrated and ugly there are plenty of other overpriced and overrated Ferraris in that category. Of the big five (288GTO, F40, F50, Enzo, Laf) I’d now take it first or second. And that’s something I never thought I’d say not long ago.
I think the 288 is really beautiful and would be my easy pick of those five, not sure what their value is though? F40 second, the F50 never really did it for me!!
I was. Simon convinced me to drive to Cairns instead. There’s also stuff going on here re the -24 I don’t want to be too far away if I need to come back to Adelaide at short notice.
Golfs are great cars...My son has a Golf R that he loves....He is a member on the golf forum and they organise drives, BBQs etc.....They are almost as enthusiastic as we are....
A mate just sold his Golf R. It was a great car. However, the one I bought is about as far away from a Golf R as it’s possible to get: A poverty spec wagon. But it’ll do the job reliably and economically.
It would seem not. I sent him all the info but haven’t heard anything. In the meantime I dropped the faulty solenoid to a business in Gawler who think they might be able to fix it. If that’s the case that may be an acceptable solution but so far no definite result.
I'm stuck up here doing regionals but hopefully will be back on Friday....I'll ask him when I pick up the 308 on the weekend....
