Not a valid comparison, one is a road car, the other is a highly modified car with a roll cage, aftermarket seats, power steeting etc so would appeal to a completely different buyer.
Of course it's a great looking car. Poor Maurice has his self worth tied to his car, hence his overreaction to the claim that it's the second least desirable 3**. Mind you, I still say that if he's going to lash out because his manhood is in question he should try to get his facts right..... Just to avoid looking foolish. Maybe he's just peeved because his old GT4 'costed' more than mine lol
For the record you were the one that began with the insults, but hey l’m just another guy on this Forum that you thought you could bully.. Anyway back to the discussion at hand, the second least desirable thing is yours and Simon’s opinion,,and opinions are like Asscon’s,everyone has had an argument with one..not backed up by facts and certainly not backed up with current asking prices or sales, one as recent as of a few days ago.. And as for the facts, well l paid $45k for my GT4,spent $15K for an engine rebuild and another $2k replacing all the suspension bushes and reconditioning the steering rack..l sold it for the equivalent of $65k(part cash, part trade) 2 years later he went on and sold it for $70k,Still less than what your one ended up costing and apparently according to Simon is still having money spent on it for suspension work.. My argument with Simon was his ludicrous claim that the Alfetta GT 1800 would out accelerate a 328,that’s when the discussion began becoming silly, but l apologize if you’re new username Asscon is catching on like wildfire now.. We can start another ‘tread’ about that if you want..
Really? Are you sure about that? I'm old and forgetful....please show me. I see English is still your second language, but that's ok.....I'm sure you speak English gooder than I speak Italian. Anyway, there's that catch all word again. When you don't like what you read, you're being bullied. lol Well, here's the thing that you're overlooking. Your opinion isn't worth any more than anyone else's. If my opinion, and the opinion of others on here, it seems, is that a 328 is the second least desirable car of the 3** series, then it's not like Simon and I are lone wolves. Just look at the lists that were made. Now you like to bring it back to the $$$$ because to you, that's all that proves the desirability of a car. I don't agree. You don't have to agree with me not agreeing with that. No problem. You sold your "lowly" GT4 because your manliness couldn't cope with the derision that went with the ownership (sounds like you couldn't afford to maintain it anyway), so you bought a 328 because that was the image you wanted to portray. You wanted to be Magnum and you wanted to be noticed. That's fine...each to their own, but I buy cars for a different reason. Sometimes I buy one and realise it was a mistake (like the 328GTB) so I sell it. So what? By the way, you DO know the reason I bought that car, right? NO? Then you should probably STFU. I think you need a chip for the other shoulder, just to balance things up a bit. Like I said before, you don't get it, you'll never get it. I tried to explain, but you have blinkers on and you're clearly full of hate and jealousy. Never mind. I get that a lot from people. p.s. I don't mind AssCon. It gave me a laugh.
Just use IGNORE , it's brilliant in it's new guise, it wipes out ALL posts and quotes from that person so you can enjoy your posting or reading experience BTW, it's bloody freezing in Sydney, I might have to rethink this contract or HTFU as Gary likes to keep telling us
So?? Neither were a couple of my other cars. That's why I know what I'm talking about....EXPERIENCE....which you're lacking.
I found the perfect car with the perfect number plate for Maurice. OLIO Hopefully he can afford the maintenance on this one! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Maurice my car is last on the list but I don't GAF as I love my 308.....JM had some good advice to just put him on ignore....He's just trying to bait you....It's what he does and gets off on it......
I think it can be determined that it was a lack of driver skill in the case of the trip back home.....or his POS 328 was way out of tune given the amount of crap coming out of his arse end when he floored it (as I said before).....maybe he put diesel in the thing instead of 98.
You’re right Don Giovanni, but isn’t it funny how many people he has run off this forum?? The amount of people that have left this forum because of him is enough to start another forum,,oh wait l think they have
Its a beautiful sunny day in Sydney today - you do need to HTFU or you will lose your NSW citizenship So what part of Sydney are you staying in and how long are you expecting to be down here for ?
Yep I'll go along with that one,I'd rather have a 'Cruiser as a daily driver any day of the week.....unfortunatley.
