    Not so Ian... piping IS the best way to do fabric/leather seams, makes them much stronger. Colour is a whole different thing...

    Perhaps, but contrasting coloured piping has no function and is tasteless. It's just a way to show that you've paid more for your car.

    And contrasting piping is a British thing, started by RR coachbuilders, it was never part of Italian interiors.

    I agree, tan seat trim looks better against black carpet. This is my Queen Mother interior after I restored it. Note the same colour seat piping :)

    Just my opinion of course, but if I was speccing my dream 308 it would be Grigio Argento with silver-grey carpet and navy leather seats (piped, no contrast).
