I usually accept what knocker says, but if you're agreeing with him he must be wrong this time.

It’s a beautiful car, thankfully pictures don’t do a Grigio Alloy 360s lines and road presence any credit, that and the uneducated assumption of large running costs coupled with equally unfounded assumptions by the general public regarding Ferrari reliability or lack of it keep the prices within reasonable reach of enthusiasts..for now

    Yes, really. This is Ferrarichat

No one cares about porsches unless they're real ones, which a 928 clearly isn't..... But a little number change makes all the difference. A 918 is worth talking about. Got one?

I reckon 458 prices are actually pretty solid, its the 488 that seems to be taking the brunt of the depreciation.

That depreciation is due to 488 owners with Pista deliveries wanting (or needing ) to unload their 488 all at the same time, there are around 50 x 488's for sale at the moment which is a big number for the Australian market. (In order to qualify for a Pista, one needed to take delivery and register a 488 GTB) . The second reason is that the F8 Tributo is essentially a Pista in everything but name, and the base price is only 3% more than a 488. And you don't have to load it up with another 75K of options to get one ( as you did with a Pista ) and F8T are available without restriction.
The F8T will also be the last non hybrid, V8 mid engine coupe Ferrari produce so it will define a significant point in Ferrari's history. It's also likely you will need to be an F8T owner to be considered for the final, limited production, high performance version of the F8 Tributo. So rather than buying a near new 488, one may as well order an F8T ( which is what is happening)

The 458 on the other hand is the last N/A mid engine Ferrari coupe, and that is very appealing for a lot of people ( and will continue to be) . I reckon that the 458 Speciale will be the car everyone wants ina few years (much more so than the Pista, which will be laregely overshadowed by the last version of the F8T.)

I missed the description, but it would have had to have been exceptional for that price

Nope. As I said, depends on the description, but prob UK car with those fog lights, and unless it's just come from a complete paint and mechanical overhaul, that is a top price for that car.

    Yep
