Looks like the rear suspension is shagged, not just the speedo.

 

I bought my Monaro in 1983 at 21 years of age.

You got yours in 1971, however you were 51 years of age.

 

I've never had one...try and keep up.

 

I want one !!

It beat my car in the car and modified concour so it must be good

 

You know the owner,he sold a black 246 to fund that....um...project.

Saw the Dino & met the current owner a few months ago.
I know the 340 has been for sale for some time, intersting though that Oldtimer is now involved in trying to sell it.

Yes I agree. Although the last ones are the best looking of the bunch.
Didn’t they have a 348 engine in the end?
Surely not a bad car at all and undervalued?

 

True the Mondial T has softer lines and the pretty cool 348 motor but I think it’s a big job for belts and the 3 l Quattrovalve motor had the right sound plenty of go and I’m told engine accessibility to the vitals belts ect is good
What’s not to like If it we’re still a $40 k car

According to Pap you only have to change the belts every 25 years so it’s not too bad.

 

I saw one yesterday. It looked tiny in modern traffic.

 

Famous Aussie hairdresser, perhaps better known in Qld. Had a big pink offshore power boat among other fancy things!!

 

I just can't get my head around who they think will ever pay for that thing?

Haha It does seem like a lot considering, I saw a rough black one on eBay 18 months ago running rego for $35k, I guess it’s only a matter of time given growing scarceness due to neglect ect the price should increase
