Well, there are currently around 10 355's for sale. That is a good selection, isnt it??

After all, this Australia we live in. The Poms and the Yanks have around 30 355's for sale at any given time and around 70 360's for sale!

There around 40 360's on the market. Trying to find a good 355 or 360 will be your biggest challenge ol son. They are both old cars now.

 

This would be nice to add to the collection, just for toughness reasons!!

most have been thrashed and crashed,

 

but of the 355's for sale all seem to be convertibles which is really not my thing.

precisely why i was thinking im not likely to get a good one at reasonable price.

i notice that the old Michael Hutchins F355 is still for sale, i dont think that car has turned a wheel for about 6 years. i remember when i started looking for a 308 in 2003 it was for sale for $225k, now its at around $159k and still nobody wants it (but who would a silver spider with blue interior YUK)

 

If you saved up a bit more money, you could buy this.......

You might be able to find a cheaper one.

 

Way too much money for this, you can buy a 355 for this money.

Hmmm, not really. That 328 is overpriced. He's been trying to sell it for over 6 months now. Obviously nobody sees any value at that price. His dumb ad description doesn't help either. In fact he has about another 6 or so Ferraris for sale including that 308GT4 $90k. Some have been for sale for close to two years so he obviously isn't meeting the market

Well, thats right. That is ALL it takes, someone who really wants a 328 GTB. They will pay top dollar, of course.

The way I see it is that if I was after a 328, I would be looking at spending $100k. I don't think just because it is a GTB makes it all that special, perhaps the same value as good Aussie delivered GTS. So if the only GTB available is for sale at a firm $140k well then I'd be inclined to look at a 355 which can be had for the same bucks. But that's just me

And I don't know what you would know that I would not know that you know

 

If you drove a GTB you'd understand. Seriously different to drive....just like being the same in a non identical sort of way...hehe

and I can give you a good reason for paying 355 prices for a 328 (not that I would.....but I digress)....the cost of ownership/maintenance, and more than adequate performance....certainly more than *I* can use.

 

Most of the owners of those cars aren't stuck at the moment so no need for a realistic sale.I made an offer on one of the GTS's but the owner didn't want to come close.The car has been sitting there for 9 months or so.The owner of the shop wins both ways as its costing the seller to keep his car there.In the long run he might get what he wants for the car but deduct the time+rego+insurance to have a car sit there,my offer comes in close.But I'll keep looking and waiting on a deal which hopefully comes up.Wouldn't mind that Toorak car though

Yep, just be patient. Eventually one of these owners will actually really want to sell and price the car accordingly.
