Sad that he's selling, that car has been in the same family since new. Long term FCA members also.

I hope it stays here, maybe Wes could sort out a loan for the GG consortium to buy it? :)

I only lend to reputable people.

GGers wouldn't pass the character test.

working backwards from FX and import costs, it's the equivalent of US$950K. 4 cars on Hemmings at the moment, ranging from US$595 to 805K.

RHD probably justifies a $100K premium, so it's not an unreasonable starting point for an Aussie buyer, for a professionally restored one-owner car with significant local history.

Agree that the price is out of range in the US or UK, particularly with 20% VAT added in the UK.

Stupid money for a car that would be ordinary to drive. Rather buy a Daytona and a Dino for $2mil, but they’re stupid money too

So with yours and Andrews' vast experience of all things Ferrari, how does the white car compare with this on offer.LHD is a more worldly wantable car.
I get the single Aussie ownership but does that account for 1/2 a mill South Pacific Peso's of difference?

There were only 7 RHD cars Simon, so they're much more collectible. The Ivory car has some special aspects, owned by one family since new, raced by David McKay, perfect restoration by one of the best shops in the world, etc, etc. What that amounts to in terms of a premium on price is up to the buyer.

Just had a chat to a mate of mine who is seriously considering dipping his toe into the world of Ferrari ownership.
He's keen on picking up a 360. Red or black, and preferably a Spider. Budget up to $130k-ish.

If anyone is aware of any out there that may fit the bill (other than what's on Carsales) please let me know.

    Thanks! :)
