Troy's birthday is the 13th March .... I can only remember it because it was one week before I bought my GT4 The nurses wouldn't let him come home in it as the car restraints for the capsule weren't anchored in the right spots
What? Well how come for the last several years has everyone been saying happy birthday to Troy on the 13th of April?
If your buying a 458 I am told that the gearbox was better after 2012 Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I've heard that too, but Marc reckons they have no troubles unless they are tracked/raced. I don't know exactly WHAT troubles they have though?
10 years time everyone will want the F1 It will be seen as the manual of the paddle shift. Single clutch goodness.
Whilst your loving how fast the car accelerates, you can also watch how quickly the depreciation cycle kicks in and the value plummets With the number of newer faster models that will be coming out of Maranello the second hand market for 488s will continue to push the 458s down Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Not really seeing that, the 458, being the last normally aspirated mid engined car seems to be quite popular. 488 prices are being squeezed by oversupply (Pista situation) and becase of the arrival of the F8. The F8 is a better car (and will be last mid engined, pure ICE Ferrari). 488 prices will fall below 458's.
Quite possibly Mike, but who knows. I thought the manual 430’s prices would go through the roof, but they seem to be stagnating on carsales. Certainly the 458 has the last NA appeal, and is, IMO, a better car and does seem to be holding its own in regards to pricing. Perhaps I’ll wait and eventually afford a 488. I see the comparison Ian, but the 488 wasn’t allowed to be personally imported under the RAWS regs, so isn’t quite the same as the 360, but the volume is certainly pretty high. The 360 suffers from the ‘is it Aus delivered?’ syndrome. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
We can play this game all night, Ferrari has a habit of replacing great cars with lesser "improvements". 458 = 550 488 = 575 458 = 328 488 = 348 458 = 365GTB/4 (Daytona) 488 = 365BB
