A red or high mileage 599 would still be low 200's. However the Grigio car was a nice colour with many desirable options and low mileage, so 299 was a fair price.
The crazy market won't last much longer. US is slowing with inflation growing = stagflation. China Govt stepping hard on property developers = lower commodity prices. I also think the Delta lockdowns will impact our economy more than the 2020 efforts did.

Whom knows. We were looking good for parity until the extended Delta lock downs, now with China pulling back it's a double hit. Buy the guitar now or wait a year.
Cheers mate, I appreciate the reply. I am going to place an order for it now and it's up to a 4 year wait for it which is ok by me. There is no hurry to get it on my end. They want 20% deposit now, I can do that, but was wondering do I pay it all now hoping the Aussie/US dollar doesn't tank? Or do I pay that 20% deposit and pay the rest out later if the AU/US dollar picks up. I was only joking saying I was waiting for the dollar to hit parity again, but anything over 80c would give me a chubb at this point in time as it will be the most expensive guitar purchased in my collection.

Kim, He is upgrading to 360 i heard. The F1 variant too as manual too old school and less desirable for a youngster like him. Although he may have to cancel his guitar order to fund it. PAP, btw my neighbour is a classic guitar maker. According to him, he will be feature in the guitar magazine of some sort soon..
