Thanks. I'm perfectly comfortable with letting it go. It's been brilliant and I love that car, but 11 years is way longer than any other car I've owned, and it's time for someone else to enjoy it. No official news on the Lotus - the communication is absolutely woeful - but I'm not expecting to see it before March / April next year, so no huge hurry to sell the 355. Once we do have the Lotus we will be driving it a lot, including longer trips. Tassie and Pt. Macquarie will be the first two on the list. And hopefully I can join you clowns on a drive or two as well.
This bit in the ad made me lol “The sticky interior switch problem common to all older Ferraris was eliminated in 2021 at considerable expense by the best in the world – StickyRX solutions in the US - and the standard of finish is better than new.”
Umm not quite the truth there Stevie......as you well know. Older for you starts at about 1990,the end of the 328/TR and where yours, and many other folks' troubles started. People like Jon,Murray,RobH,Pat,Karen, meself and I'm shore some others here with REALLY old Ferraris don't have a clue as to what you're going on/off about!
I’m not going on/off about anything, but I take your point. It’s unlikely anyone interested in the car would misunderstand what I’m saying, but for the sake of accuracy I’ll change the wording to “all Ferraris of this era”. Happy?
According to the Ford Vs Ferrari movie they all became FIATs after 1965 .... and if it's at the movies then that is the PROOF , so there
