Quiz: Ferrari is in the business of: a) Making Sports Cars b) Making money You'd be surprised how many people pick "a," but if you picked "b" you pass.
Nasty. I thought it was risky for Porsche to go down that road...but IMO they did a good job. Its not the nicest thing on the road, but overall I find it appealing, especially the Turbos performance. Someone brought up the split between Ferrari and Maserati.....is that official now? I haven't been following the story much lately. Thats too bad because I thought for sure any itching on Ferrari's part to build an SUV would be sold with the crown instead of the horse (kubang). Who knows what will happen now, but I sure as hell hope its not THAT.
no no no. it wont happen....im looking for the pic the choped that from...i saw it but now i cant find it...alot of my pics have been deleted.

Those were merely spy shots I have the REAL photos. Its really the Orange 1 on top, it will be called the Bologna, it is 100% carbon fiber except for the seats which are made of Bologna. It will be powered by a Schmenzo engine and the brake pads will cost $100,000 per set. Oh and they're all sold already so eat your heart out Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
By not tackling the fadish SUV market, Ferrari proves itself to be a leader in fine sports cars while keeping true to its heritage. At this point in time, it is very late in the game to even consider throwing up an SUV on the drawing board. Some things are best left to Rover, Subaru and Jeep. Concorso Italiano 2001 - Pininfarina Rossa debut. Ferrari again, proves itself a leader by not following the trendy "retro" car development. Production of the Rossa was denied, while new awe inspiring generations of Ferrari cars hit the dealer showrooms. Ferrari is a leader, not a follower.
The day Ferrari builds an SUV is the day Ferrari dies. ...And they know that. Ferrari wont build one. Enzo would roll over his grave.
They do that and I'll sell mine. They need to keep to what they do best. A ferrari in every garage. I think not! Besides that, like the 430 it's a major dissapointment in the stying department.....A cousin to the Mini Cooper clown car.
Everyone is bringing out an SUV lately. Even Lambo are strongly considering one. I absolutely can't see Ferrari doing it though. Their cars are mystical and passionate, that is what Ferrari is, and that is something that an SUV, no matter how good, can never be.
Did I miss a meeting or something, they might as well dig up Enzo and rape his corpse. They build it and I will take a dump on the doorstep to FoBH. I pretty much gave up on Ferrari when the axe fell on the 550/575 programme, 360 is ugly, 612 made me turn my back on buying a new one again, and the 430 pretty much made me step a little faster away from the prancing shetland pony their road cars have become. I'd rather see them go out of business than abandon a road racing programme, and build SUV's.
