I saw the comment, thanks:). While I was shooting the video I thought "I will not be happy if this turns into hail":D. Also .you see 22PLE in action after six months.

Beautiful, but what's the bit about "22PLE in action after six months"?

I also like driving in the rain. All the same, make sure you check the forecasts for tornadoes as well as hail! It's that time of the year again.

BTW, have you all tried the "Rain Away" windshield treatment? If the rain isn't torrential, I can usually drive without using the wipers at all. It's a neat experience and the product does work.

Looks like it was filmed inside a Mini near Randalstown, Antrim UK.

That is what I like, Ferraris actually being used!

The 22PLE is the 'glass' coating that Todd Cooperider is using. No wax on this car at all, just his coating done last October. Take a look at Todd Cooperider Online | The voice of the highline detailing industry or Esoteric Auto Detail in Columbus, Ohio ? Detailing, Training, and Product Sales. .

Here are photos of my FF after Todd did the paint correction (remove factory swirl marks) and adding the 22PLE coating. Ferrari FF Grigio Silverstone. 22PLE VX1 Pro - a set on Flickr

Here is a video of my California with the coating [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3uE0Ol2MO4]22ple glass on Ferrari California - YouTube[/ame]

And a photo gallery of the California when it was first corrected then the 22PLE added. The paint correction is most important! It really brings out the best in the paint. The 22PLE makes it so you don't have to wax it for 1.5 to 2 years! Ferrari California - a set on Flickr

Rick, thanks for the tip on 22ple. Amazing results. I'd do that if I want a showroom-like finish.

I am actually waiting for a quotation for a full car application of a 3M film. It's not quite the same as 22ple but it would also protect against small hits from gravel and other detritus we often get falling off from the haulers on the highway. I believe Mark did his 599 the same way.

The Rain Away material is only good for a season but is easy to apply, essentially wiping a couple of coats on a clean dry windshield.

The first thing I noticed on the video was the beading, before I even noticed how heavy the rain was.

    A quick question though.

Does the FF or even the Cali still feel special when you get behind the wheel ( maybe the attention the red Cali gets over the FF), or do you now have to have an occasional outing in a regular family car just to remind you how good have got it.

    Enjoy. !
