Well how to start. Having worked for Ferrari F1 in my 'younger' years i had last driven a road car in 95. Jesus they have changed! My 09(just 2 years old with 3k on the clock) F430 spider was delivered last Monday. This thing flies! yet it drives through town! What a car. I have an 07 XKR and that is quick but..... So after a week what do i think. Its a dream to drive, you have to think sure but not as hard as i remeber the 348/355. The F1 box is superb. I did some of the code on the F1 car as well as the active suspension. Skyhook was a development i worked on way back then... To drive what i did in my youth!! BUT it did make me realise what a great car the XKR is. Its a great GT They, to me, are both great cars. I have still not stopped grinning and neither has the wife who got in it and just drove it, comments when we swapped over in a car park "Your not letting the bird drive it??!!!" raised a smile! Gorgeous car and glad you are enjoying her. I notice you have the right hand drive option as well. (where can you go to open her up? A track?) Besides the shields and challenge rear end, what other options do you have?
