    Brettski gave me some foam buffing pad samples a while back to review. Although not accustomed to polishing cars (yuck) I though I'd give them a whirl - so to speak!

    The larger pads have been awesome on the DeTomaso and the Soarer, but today I had to get rid of some pre-delivery (a55holes) scratches on the tank of a bike - and metalic black to make it worse.

    I had purchased some 75mm white waffle pads for a small random orbital air polisher and tried that first with some Menzanina light cutter. Did four parts of fark all!

    So I pulled out Brett's orange foam which is his cutter.

    Orange - cut.
    Whiie - polish and swirl remove
    Grey - Final finish

    So I grabbed some Meguirs Scratch X which is a liquid compound cutter and tried the orange pad. Awesome, two goes over most areas and all fine scratching gone, even under halogen lamps.

    Then to finish the machine work I switched to a Swiss fine polish and the grey pad. Beautiful!

    Then a final hand rub with Swiss Zymol and buff by hand and the tank was perfect. All ready for the clear bra job to be done.

    So thanls Brettski, a bloody great product.

    Thanks for the kinds words Rob, they are very rare from you mate. ;)

    I just got back from Sydney today, made some improvements to the product over the past 2 days. I'll flick you a couple of the new design when I next catch up with you.
