    Thanks.

I couldn't care less about loosing that prediction. But it really pisses me off that Stefan GP didn't get in. They deserved a spot and would have probably been faster than the newbies.

To quote Linda Richman: It's a Schande! And I'm getting verklemmt.

    Agreed.

They should have replaced the smoke an mirrors operation on the grid when the axe finally fell and sent them on their way... presumably to make bread-related machinery. :p

Are you sure about number 7? I few years ago I sat in the pits at Laguna Seca and watched Andrea Bertolini (Maser test driver/ ALMS driver) in a Ferrari F1 car try to break the track record set by Helio Castroneves in an IRL car. He didn't.

I think the road course thing depends on the car, the driver, and the circumstances!

As F1 and Indy Cars don't share any venues on there Schedules , its unfair to compare there current relative performance to each other. As there ultimate lap times are only achieved in qualifying/racing conditions on a full race weekend, with full factory team support, with team drivers that the cars are set up for and often designed around, and also when the track is fully "rubbered" in by cars of the same series.

But within motorsport, its widely recognized that F1 cars have the greatest performance in terms of lap time around road courses, mainly due to there ever advancing technology's, superior power to weight ratios and extreme aerodynamic development.

Recession is defined by the measurable growth of the economy. It is not a question of belief, but merely statistics on empirical data.
