The FXX K Thread

Yes, IIRC Ferrari mention sth about 2-year development-tests stage. So the hybrid-XX project has to start and then we will be getting the further tweaking stage of the FXXK.
From what I've known, e.g. from Peter M., the XX cars are under constant development, even in their mature stage. That's the drivers - factory feedback works. And that's great.

About the lap time -
reading the whole current page of topic from the beginning, will help to draw even wider conclusions.
I really want FXXK to be very FXXXing fast.

If 599XX Evo managed to do it in 1.15 (the records have to be put of course in close to ideal conditions, plus more power and active wing in comparison to not-Evo 599XX), then could the FXXK shave another 3s of that time or did you refer more likely to the 1.17 time?

BTW thanks for "real world experience" input on the topic. Always interesting to know more.
Looking forward to your impressions from a ride in FXXK.

I dont believe that at all.
LdM said the same thing about the 458 not having a "CS / Scud" version, and now we have the Speciale and Speciale A.
XX are test beds, it would be surprising not to see a power / aero package at some point in the future. Maybe not in two years time, so most likely announced in 25 months

In 5 years from now I'm expecting Ferrari to ditch the turbo in the 458T and replace it by an electric motor a LaFerrari.

That thing is much prettier than the LaFerrari, and it certainly looks more dramatic than the P1 GTR.
