The Gallardo legacy --> now an Audi?

looks pretty sleek. a TT and a Gallardo mated..?

 

Uggh....the back looks like they just stuck a big piece of plastic on it.

 

these pictures have been all over the audi and lambo boards. The car is still very early in developement and I am sure they are not going to sell a 100k car that looks like its half plastic

 

Not sure that I like the big red covering on the back of the car.. it works with discretion on a 996 C4S, but doesn't accomplish the same over here. I'd prefer they remove it.

 

You need to remember that this is a Mule Prototype. That rear Red Bar is just red tape.

 

that c pillar looks rather 350z-ish/g35-ish although it looks like tape (as you can see the fuel filler on the pass side) the cabin seems to have a rather nissan/infiniti look to it. im not digging it.

what engine would they use? s4?s8? basically the detuned v10 g-car engine?

 

I think maybe the R8 mule? Supposedly Gallardo based.

 

They will have two engine options for the R8, the RS4 FSI 4.2 V8 and then V10 from gallardo.

 

I think they are trying to get into M6/CL55,65 territory. Plus it makes perfectly good business sense. They are just sticking a product between the gallardo and the RS series of performance cars.
