    I just had a magic idea prompted by 285Ferrari's post in another thread regarding the lack of use his car has had.

    Let’s see some photos of your odometer prior to a drive, then again after; who ever covers the most distance wins a surprise all the way from New Zealand.

    Rules are simple, no Photoshop, all odometer photos must contain the days news paper showing the date (before and after the drive) and be posted within 2 days of the date on the paper. Open to all 348 and 355 owners.

    The person and car who can cover the most miles/kms in one day wins, this is open for the month of June. All photos must be posted by July 1st 2008.

    The prize will be sent by parcel post to the winner's nominated address. Worldwide!

    Get driving boys..... :D

    mmmmmmm you are a bad BAD influence! Damn it! Now I feel like a Whittaker’s peanut slab, got to help the poor guy full up that Mclaren F1 and all.

    Seriously, the prize will not be eatable, unless it’s going to Pap, then all things look like food....... :)

    I didn't know he had a McLaren, very cool. A good friend lives in Whangarei, he sends me my chocolate fix every 6 months or so...

    I'll be taking mine on the 20th this month on a 4 day drive..:) We still don't know where we are going either north to Utah, or So to Cali. We will stay overnight where every we end up that day, and to the same for the next 3 after that..:D Sould be a great time.

    Nope, you forgot the picture of the paper next to the odometer. Unless you saved that paper, then you can drive it for a week and snap the 'later that day' picture :))

    Wish I would have seen this before I left. Did 319 yesterday San Diego to Vegas and then doing it again tomorrow back home. I still have the chance to document tomorrow and post that 319 mile drive at least.

    Man, even i can't get it right...........

    Did 400ish kms today but no news paper for the photos...........

    Man they were good kms though, 200kms on a track, give a man a Ferrari a full tank of gas and a race track=pure bliss! :D

    Couldn't find a paper @ 4am today prior to leaving for home. Another 319 miles, but no documentation. I was thinking, what if we held up a cell phone with the date on it for future miles?

    Cell phone date and time "should" should be as current as you can get. May be able to adjust the time, but not the date.

    Well I guess I'll start it...:) I just took this picture but it's pretty hard to read, the flash put a glare on the paper...:( I hope it will do. I'm leaving in the moring with a few other f-chatters and some local guys on a boys trip that should put over 1000k on the cars in 4 days. I'll be taking other pictures along the way and I'll post them when I home on the 23rd. Does the last picture need a paper in the picture also or if I post it on the 23rd is that ok? If you look close at the picture you can just make out the June 19 - 25 2008. I had to steel the paper from the neighbors drive way...:D see ya when I get back...:)

    I think stealing the paper from your neighbor, while reprehensible, should get you a bonus of at least 100 miles. (Reprehensible behavior being one good quality of the Brotherhood!) :)
