    John,
You took some great shots. Maybe you should post them on the general FC site where Manny and Dave have the other Mondial Road Trip thread.

Fellas - can't thank you enough for the hospitality you showed us yesterday. We're about to hop in the car and complete the last leg of the journey, Shreveport to Dallas/Fort Worth.

It was fun. Loved seeing your signed flag on display back in Texas!

And good luck getting that A/C fixed if you're going to be driving much this summer.

I am sorry I missed everyone. I was in Florida for the long weekend and did not get back until Mon afternoon. Looks like everybody had a nice time.

Did my recommended detour help or hurt?

The guys said at lunch that it was great - no problems - much more scenic that I-20, and a few twisties.

I would like to know the detour myself - I spent :45 going 2 miles in the Mondial the other day just by the Georgia line.

Maybe you weren't able to be there, but your suggestion was. They loved your detour around the traffic.

Hey guys, I was looking at the museum website and I have a question - Is this Barber related to Skip Barber? The whole time we were there I thought I was at the Skip Barber track, but then I went to the Skip Barber website and found no mention of the museum and track. Is there any relation?

    No relation.

This is the brainchild of George Barber. Made his money in the dairy business here in Alabama.

    I think he likes motorcycles.

His original plan was to use this as his own personal test track - his OWN PERSONAL track. Things sonwballed didn't they?
