Not sure Eddie did better than James. And James was smoking. Still cooler than Eddie. But not as rich.

Senna btw was just as boring as all the other usual greats. I mean c'mon, a 3 times world champion whose passion is R/C planes. How lame is that? :)

That's true I didn't know them. Nor did Piquet. :)

    Sorry, couldn't resist.

PS: Don't take my posts regarding Eddie too serious. The question of this thread is so rhetoric, that giving it the proper answer is no fun. Eddie is my hero, what can I say.

LOL we are all good. Piquet was just jealous that Senna dumped the Model that Piquet ended up having a child with.

LOL Too bad he's still waiting for his 4th wheel.

Gilles was the greatest. His combination of desire, car control and on-track sportsmanship make him the greatest. Nobody else, including MS, had such high levels of those elements.

+2 the fastest driver that ever lived. The guy had never had a car at his sublime levels, the 312T4 was close at the beginning of the 79 Season, but no where near the FW07.

..well documented that he had his run ins with Enzo and the political powers at the factory and his crew chief. He was fed up and tired of the BS at Ferrari and with Enzo himself. All drivers complained about that so it should be believed to be accurate.

PART OF THIS IS WRONG, 100% WRONG

Lauda had no problem with his crew chief ERMANNO CUOGHI !! They fired Cuoghi when Lauda left because he was so aligned with Niki !

And I believe Cuoghi went over to Brabham with Lauda?

I vote for Tazio Nuvolari, who did drive "for Ferrari", even if the car was an Alfa Romeo. His win over the mighty German teams in the 1935 German GP, driving an outdated Alfa P3, is probably still the greatest upset in Grand Prix history.
