    When I went to the Art Center Classic there was a speech
    by Sasha Selipanov that showed the 612 GTO
    he designed just for fun , I'm bing a bored VW designer at the time. But it led to a job at Lambo and and then he went to Bugatti and is now heading up Genesis advanced design. .
    Any comments on the design? I think I'll put it on a T-shirt...Here's some pictures on these sites:

    Ive always liked the overall shape but the front 'mouth' is a bit too much.

    Agree. I think Lexus adopted it. Reminds me of a whale shark.

    I agree.. they could have put an oval grill up front to pay more homage to the GTO, and also make the back panel more like the original. Looks kind of like a corvette.

    Looks like an ugly derivative of the One-77. Basically a copy of that car minus the bumpers and lights.

    Looks fantastic from rear angles, nice from the side, but the front is a no go.

    Fully agreed. Make the front (a lot...) more elegant and it would be fantastic. Rear end is stunning.

    Oooo, yes. If they'd revive the Dino brand, they could have both front and mid V6 models. Alas, Ferrari has said they won't do retro. Too bad.

    I think one of the hardest design challenges would be to update the original 250 GTO. If nothing else, tires are so much bigger today, and tires are ugly.
