Anyone can help with positive identification of car next to Beetle? I'm thinking about coachbuilt Lancia Appia or one of smaller Fiats but didn't manage to proof any of my guesses. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Thanks. I was comparing the pic with later version, that has completely different lights treatment, so didn't think of it! Picture of ferry dates from late 1950's, probably Adriatic coast, then Yugoslavia, now Croatia...
I found this pic on The Instagram. I can't remember which profile posted it but I do know that the make/model was not included in the description. ... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hello guys. I was looking at the classicdriver.com and i came across with that: https://www.classicdriver.com/sites/default/files/styles/colorbox/public/article_images/smueller_cd2016_09.jpg?itok=MfSTA0Pq Does anyone know what is it and what was the use of it? Thank you in advance.
Last weeks episode of hbo ballers featured a car that looked like a cross between bmw i8 and mac 650s. Wide receiver character bought it for his father. Said the name but I couldn't understand it. 0 to 60 in 2.9 and 230 top speed. Google cant find it either
I'll post this old chestnut again... there must be about 400 suggestions for what this is. None of them are correct. I wonder if anyone out there actually *knows* what it is... -Ed Image Unavailable, Please Login
Not yet! I revisit this one every once in a while, but unfortunately haven't had much free time lately. I'd be willing to bet it's either a fiberglass "special" by one of any number of short-lived kit suppliers in the area or a home-built project by a talented individual. By the way, seen this painting yet? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Obviously painted from the picture... with a few changes. I'm trying to figure out where the pic is taken in London... Anyone know? Is it Oxford Street????
Yes, Oxford Street. The mystery car is turning on to Market from Vere Street. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here's an intriguing ad from the December 1964 issue of MotorSport magazine: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Looks so similar to the photograph, but then why would the artist swap Leyland Titans for Routemasters?
Artistic licence (license) Deleted some vehicles, changed others... One can see why the city has lately limited the number of buses on Oxford, trying to ease the gridlock.
Great find, Wayne. Checked out a few more of the Gold Seal Car Co ads from Motorsport's archive - seems like they bought and sold quite a few Ford specials. -Ed
Here's a twist: Help me identify this car show. Based on what I can make out in the pics, I'm estimating the year to be 1954 and guessing the location is somewhere in the vicinity of Detroit. Can anyone tell me what show this was? Cars in the images include: Photo #1 1951-56 custom-bodied Jaguar MK VII (red and black) 1953 Ghia Desoto Adventurer I concept (white) 1953 Cunningham C3 Vignale Coupe (black with red interior) (chassis 5223 - Cunningham's personal car) Photo #2 1954 Mercedes Benz 300SL Gullwing (silver) 1953 Ghia Fiat 8V Supersonic (dark red) (twin-supercharged Chevy V8, Michigan plates "EC-28-62" - probably chassis 106.000049) 1954 Ferrari 250 Europa Pinin Farina Coupe (red with black roof) (chassis 0345 EU) 1951-56 Jaguar MK VII (white) 1936-37 Cord 810/812 (light color - silver?) Photo #3 1953 Ghia Fiat 8V Supersonic showing twin-supercharged Chevy V8 1948-55 Porsche 356 "Pre-A" Cabriolet (dark red with black top) 1948-54 Jaguar XK120 (red) (1954-style Indiana license plate "AY 150") Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Is that Paul Farago's 8V, Wayne? If so, is this photo attached of the same 250 Europa, 0345 EU, with his 8V again in 1956 at the Henry Ford Museum? Not particularly helpful to your original question, but wondered if it would help to track down anyone who might have seen it at the show in your pics. -Ed Image Unavailable, Please Login
Could be either the Farago car (106.000035) or the ***eol car (106.000049). I believe both were in the Detroit area around this time. I know the Farago car was this dark red color, but don't know the color of the ***eol car at the time. I know the ***eol car had a twin-supercharged Chevy V8 installed, but don't know if the same could have been true of the Farago car (though I doubt it). And I have no idea which might have worn MI plates "EC-28-62". Still, based on the engine pic, I suspect this is the ***eol Supersonic. I'm not sure which Europa this is. Internet sources refer to it as a Europa GT, but it's difficult to tell if that's the case from that photo (difference is mostly wheelbase and would be most obvious in the areas blocked by the two women).
