    I found this on youtube last night, a classic black 308 is used in the opening scene to run from the police & gets trashed, very interesting to say the least. This was a campy movie but this had to be one of my favorite chase scenes.

    Notice also how the rims size & body damage change in various shots.

    I really hated to see such a beautiful Ferrari lost like that...but at least it was a good chase scene unlike so many other movies.

    That's pretty cool, never seen it before.

    Now if youtube only had the Porsche/Ferrari run from "Against All Odds"...but it doesn't :(

    That was the best part of the whole movie, the bad guy gets a Mondial next as he liked Ferraris but nothing happened to it, one funny scene was when the bad guy was driving the Mondial he pointed to a hot chick to get in the car and she sneered at him and walked away. The good guy drove a 928. No other chase scenes though.

    I think they used two 308s in that movie, one is for the far away shot and two is for the close up shot, you follow me?

    It's the real deal, no kit car used or harmed during filming of those scenes. The market was low & beaters were a bit more plentiful (with deep pockets) makes me wonder what ever happened to it or them. Spare parts, crusher, coffee table, etc... Someone here has to know.

    I've owned this movie on VHS since it came out (am a big 928 fan!)

    Not only has it got a good chase with the Ferrari, but the bird who plays the stripper (Claudia Christian) is pretty hot and was later in a cult SF series - no idea which one?

    The film has also got some pretty funny lines in it. It's a bit uncomplicated for modern tastes, but good fun nonetheless.

    Other than the Ferraris and the 928, I mostly remember that film for the scene in the caddy after the alien takes over the stripper's body. There was a comedian who used to say that if he ever became a woman, he'd spend all day at home playing with his own juggs. When the alien/stripper looks down and realizes ... ;)
